Huawei Mate X Price, Release Date, Specs and Review

Here, we want to check out the new Huawei Mate X price. Huawei Mate X becomes the first Huawei smartphone with 5G network compatibility. Not just 5G compatibility but the first foldable screen device. So, check out the release date, and the wonderful specs and a complete review of this product. The availability as well as where to buy Huawei Mate X at the least affordable price will also be made known here in this comprehensive review.

Huawei wowed everyone when they announced the launch of Mate X. This device becomes the first foldable smartphone ever made available by this smartphone giant. Huawei as at the time of writing this post has released five smartphones so far in 2019. Most of the devices landing in High-End division, Mate X finds itself in another division entirely. We thought we had seen it all when they dropped Honor view 20 and Mate 20 X but they thought otherwise.

Huawei Mate X seems to be having a direct rivalry with Galaxy Fold. Yes, for sure, that is the only product that can stand Huawei Mate X at the moment. However, lets take a look at Huawei Mate X price and also review its specs.

Huawei Mate X Price

There is no official price for this product as at the time of writing this post. But, Huawei Mate X is expected to go for about $2573. In the UK, it is expected to sell for about £2025. In India, the price should be in the region of ₹178922 and in the Philippines ₱134,365. Trust me there is no certain amount just yet but from what is gathered, the price will definitely fall in this region.

Design

Huawei Mate X design represents technology for the future. Huawei has simply put a new beginning to a folding design with a communicative interaction. This is an absolute 21st-century representation of technological existence. This device features a foldable screen, first of its kind by Huawei. The design has seen so much comparison with that of Galaxy fold. There is a sided panel that allows the folded screen lap. The panel features a few buttons and camera.

Display and Screen Size

8.0 inches OLED Capacitive touchscreen 16M Colors, 2200 x 2480 Display Pixel (414ppi density). Folded Display 6.6 inches AMOLED, 1148 x 2480 pixels. The foldable screen size is about 161.3 x 146.2 x 5.4 mm (unfold) and 161.3 x 78.3 x 11 mm (folded). Expect a smart viewing experience with this super display.

Battery

Not really the most in my opinion. 4000mAh of battery seems a good deal though but simply would have been better considering the power the screen will tap. If this battery can go up to 24hours talk time then it is definitely on point, but we have to wait for its release to confirm that. However, you don’t have anything to worry about as it comes with a superfast charging feature that gets you up to 85% in just 30 minutes of charge.

Camera

No Selfie camera, no problem. Huawei Mate X features a super triple camera with a mouthwatering pixel. A combination of 40MP + 16MP + 8MP camera placed on the panel of this device. The camera turns to the back when unfolded and front when folded. So, no problem taking a selfie as you only need to fold the device.

Software and Operating System

This device features the new Android 9.0 pie that comes with a new experience. Though the Android 9.0 has not witnessed a drastic turnover like what we saw on KitKat when upgraded to Lollipop. There are however some good changes like its colourful icon setting, rounded corners for every menu, quick settings on circular icons and mixed icons on the screen menu.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.
